Davos 2019: Arabia Saudita sigla MoU con il World Economic Forum

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the World Economic Forum (WEF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Davos, Switzerland, aimed at setting up a framework for cooperation in various aspects, such as the establishment of the Forum Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution in the Kingdom and other areas of global importance.
The agreement was signed by Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf and from the other side, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Forum Professor Klaus Schwab.
The agreement will deepen the partnership between the Kingdom and the World Economic Forum by supporting the ongoing transformation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through various programs and initiatives of the Forum.
The MoU focuses on cooperation in partnerships between public and private sectors as well as key initiatives, including focusing on the future of energy, health, health care, financial and monetary systems, and other areas.
The MoU deals with the partnership with the Fourth Industrial Revolution Center being managed by the World Economic Forum, including the establishment of a center for the fourth industrial revolution in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Al-Assaf said in a press statement following the signing that as the Fourth Industrial Revolution makes changes in the way of people's living, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will benefit from its many advantages and resources to ensure its global competitiveness in the world of this revolution through important partnerships. He pointed out that the Kingdom will be in a privileged position to accommodate opportunities in the heart of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
