Andrea Bocelli incanta il teatro Maraya al Festival di Winter at Tantora

Ieri sabato 1 Febbraio, il tenore Andrea Bocelli si è esibito presso il teatro Maraya Concert Hall, nell'ambito del Festival di "Winter At Tantora", nella città di Al Ula.

"È un grande piacere essere qui per la prima volta. Sono molto emozionato per questo ", ha detto Bocelli ai fan. "È un onore essere qui." Bocelli ha dichiarato di avere un legame speciale con il Regno perché è stato il suo amico saudita Mohammed Abdul Latif Jameel ad incoraggiarlo a creare la Fondazione Andrea Bocelli, un'organizzazione caritatevole per la musica e la scienza. Una delle più grandi sorprese della notte è arrivata quando Bocelli è salito sul palco indossando un ghutra (un tradizionale copricapo da uomo saudita), che raccogliendo un fragoroso applauso dalla folla.

ll concerto, diretto da Marcello Rota, ha visto la National Symphony Orchestra accompagnare Bocelli, così come le esibizioni della soprano Maria Aleida Rodriguez, la violinista Anastasiya Petryshak e la cantante ospite Ilaria Della Bidia.

Winter at Tantora Festival is held in Al-Ula, Saudi Arabia from December 20, 2018 to February 23, 2019. About Maraya Concert Hall:

Maraya – mirror in Arabic – is a purpose-built concert hall and an extension of the environment around it in design and beauty. It includes a comprehensive stage equipped with the latest audio and lighting technology, as well as animated rear blinds that present to the audience the beauty of the mountains of Al-Ula. The latest digital projection technology has been used to describe a historical and visual story on the same stage.

The first night of the Festival will feature a concert by the Arab artist Mohamed Abdo. The concerts included the Arab artist Majida El Roumi, the Arab artist Um Kulthum via hologram, the musician Omar Khairat, the Italian singer Andrea Bocelli, the Greek composer Yanni, the French violinist Renauld Capuçon and the Chinese pianist Lang Lang. They dazzled the audience with their impressive performance and artistic sense.
