The sport industry is an important pillar of the Saudi Vision 2030, a socio-economic development plan with the aim of diversifying Saudi Arabia’s economy, creating new job opportunities and raising the quality of life. In fact, the Minister of sport explained the positive and influential contribution of the sport sector; for example the inclusion of women, new job opportunities, the contribution it has to the Kingdom’s GDP and the continuing growth of the small and medium companies that organized the international sports events.
