Covid-19: Infrastructure in Saudi Arabia proves its ability during the pandemic
During this time of crisis due to the global pandemic, Saudi Arabia’s infrastracture stands out and prove its ability, creating opportunities in many productive and service sectors.
As regards the restrictions due to the pandemic, the Ministry of Education was able to guarantee the remote education during all stages thanks to the existence of a strong digital infrastructure that was provided by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA).
Moreover, the Ministry of Health, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior and SDAIA have enabled people to meet all their needs during the lockdown period until reaching mass registration for Coronavirus vaccine nowadays, which is available through “Sehaty” App.
Moreover, on 7 January, the Ministry of Health and SDAIA (Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence) have launched a digital “health passport”, which will contain a registry of an individual’s vaccination against the coronavirus disease and confirmation that the individual is immune to the virus.
