Lifting of the measures regarding the suspension of all international flights for travelers

The government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's decided lifting the precautionary measures related to the spread of a new variant of coronavirus (Covid-19) in a number of countries, regarding the suspension of all international flights for travelers, entry to the Kingdom through its land and sea ports. These measures ended on Sunday January 3, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. taking into consideration the following:


1- Entry into the Kingdom for non-citizens coming from the United Kingdom and South Africa, as well as from any other country being specified by the Ministry of Health, in which the new variant of the novel coronavirus (B. 1, 1, 7) is spread, shall be provided that whoever wishes to enter shall spend a period of no less than 14 days outside the country in which the new coronavirus variant (B. 1, 1, 7) is spread before entering the Kingdom, with a PCR examination after the expiration of this period, proving that he/she is COVID-19 infection-free;


2- Citizens who are allowed to enter into the Kingdom for humanitarian and urgent cases coming from countries where the new coronavirus variant (B. 1, 1, 7) is spread, shall be quarantined, pursuant to paragraph (1) above, in their homes under observance for a period of (14) days, with two (PCR) examinations of the first shall be carried out after arrival within no more than (48) hours and the second before ending the quarantine on the 13th day.


As for the countries in which cases of the strain (B. 1, 1, 7) were registered, those coming from them shall be quarantined in their homes under observance for a period of 7 days, with PCR examination, before the end of the quarantine period on the 6th day.


Concerning the rest of other countries, the procedures currently followed shall be applied: 7-days mandatory home quarantine as a maximum or 3-days at least, with a mandatory laboratory examination using the (PCR) technology.

Revoca delle misure riguardanti la sospensione di tutti i voli internazionali per i viaggiatori

Il governo del Regno dell’Arabia Saudita ha stabilito la revoca delle misure precauzionali riguardanti la sospensione di tutti i voli internazionali. Queste misure, adottate in occasione della diffusione di una nuova variante del Coronavirus (Covid-19) in diversi paesi, si sono concluse domenica 3 gennaio 2021, alle ore 11, tenendo in considerazione quanto segue:

1-            Per l’entrata nel Regno da parte di cittadini stranieri provenienti dal Regno Unito e dal Sud Africa o da altri paesi indicati dal Ministero della Salute, in cui la nuova variante del Coronavirus (B. 1, 1, 7) è stata individuata, è previsto che si trascorra un periodo di almeno 14 giorni al di fuori del paese in cui la nuova variante del Coronavirus (B. 1, 1, 7) è diffusa, prima di entrare in Arabia Saudita, effettuando un esame PCR (tampone) dopo la fine dei 14 giorni, dimostrando la negatività al COVID-19;

 

2-            Qualora l’ingresso nel Regno da parte di cittadini provenienti da paesi in cui la nuova variante di Coronavirus (B. 1, 1, 7) è stata individuata sia motivato da ragioni umanitarie o da comprovate esigenze, è necessario rispettare un periodo di isolamento domiciliare sorvegliato di 14 giorni, secondo quanto stabilito nel paragrafo 1, ed eseguire due test PCR: uno entro 48 ore dall'ingresso nel Regno e il secondo al 13 ° giorno, prima della fine del periodo di quarantena.

I viaggiatori provenienti da paesi in cui sono stati registrati dei casi del ceppo (B. 1, 1, 7), dovranno essere sottoposti ad un periodo di isolamento domiciliare sorvegliato della durata di 7 giorni ed eseguire un test PCR il 6° giorno, prima della fine del periodo di quarantena.

 

Per quanto riguarda il resto dei paesi, si applicano le procedure attualmente in vigore: da un minimo di 3 giorni ad un massimo di 7 giorni di isolamento domiciliare obbligatorio, con l’esecuzione obbligatoria di un esame di laboratorio realizzato con la tecnologia PCR.
