First Annual Digital Learning Show

The Digital Learning 2018 is a 2 day initiative which brought together over 250 key decision makers and stakeholders from the largest universities, public and private schools and corporations from the Kingdom along with 25 of the most innovative solution providers from across the world, to discuss how technological innovations are now revolutionizing learning and teaching method. The conference gave the opportunity to network with the regional experts, global industry leaders to build relationships for future opportunities with industry pioneers.

The success of  Vision 2030 depends in large measure on reforms in the education system generating a better basis for employment of young individuals in the country. In 2018, KSA allocated to the public and higher education and workforce training SR 192 billion. This budget includes allocation of SR 5 billion for a number of initiatives of Saudi Vision 2030. The sector's budjet consist of implementing new projects and expanding existing ines, including education facilities and schools, labs and infrastructure of universities and training insitutues and colleges. Spending projects that are currently being implemented across all regions of the Kingdom will continue according to the stages of implementations as follow: The implementation of the King Abdullah bin Abdulaiziz Public Education Development Project (Tatweer). The number of Schools that are to be handed over during the period (2016-2020) will be 1.107 or 42% of the total planned number for 5 years (2016-2020) which is estimated at 2.621 schools. It will also continue the renovation of girls college in a number of universities. Likewise the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques overseas scholarship Program will continue. The total number of students sent abroad to study under the supervision of the Ministry of Education has exceeded 173,000 students and their escoorts.
